Celling App Reviews

7 Customer Reviews:

Much more powerful than I expected for 99¢, so it almost feels like nitpicking to point out a few flaws. Id rather have preferences to set. "Save in High Res" and "Preview Quality…" are under the File menu and have to be set every launch. Preview quality must be set to at least 2x for the preview to match the final result. It can be slow to save. (But it saves every time for me, unlike for UnusedUserNameNumberOneMillion.) A couple of the presets are, well, cheesy. The interface could be nicer. Tooltips would be great. Its not hard to figure most things out, but a little more info would be useful. It would be great if it opened PSDs. Overall, I am very pleased with Celling. I got more than I expected for a pittance.

99 cents-what could I lose? It turned out to do a good job but I hit save and it freezes. I thought for 99 cents I could take a screen shot but I couldnt get the drop down box to disappear. I had to force quit just to make the entire thing go away. I like the adjustments that can be made but being able to save it would be great. Sending report to above email.--Update: I was sent a debugged version. All I had to do was drag it to my desktop and presto, it saves! I must agree with capitalj below. I felt like I was nitpicking because it does such a good job for the price. It was also solved in a timely fashion:)

I have never had a program that would lock up my entire computer and I was dumb enough to do it twice, the minute you put the picture in the drag box , everything freezes and I mean everything. Dont get me wrong it looks cool but trust me , no no no. VERSION 1.04 STINKS.

The program seems to crash with large Tiff files, I know that 91Meg files will dependably crash while saving, and 61Meg files will dependably work, but not sure what exactly the magic cutoff number is. The program is quite well done otherwise, easy to use and very well featured.

This is about as straight-forward as it comes, use-wise. drag and drop a photo, use the presets or manual controls to manipulate, then save. Its not photoshop, but its achieves great art filter effects for pennies. Awesome!

This is a fun app. It’s simple, intuitive, and just amazing to see some of the effects applied to my photos. One of the best bargains in the AppStore.

This App takes the worst photos you have and turn them into works of art. Your best photos will POP! out. The interface is simply and fun to play with (just to see what you can come up with).
